I don't stand in front of college audiences and executive leadership teams to talk about a distance between two versions of you. I stand there to be inside it with them, because most people are not connected to who they actually are. They are surviving. Managing. Hiding. Living from a version of reality the world handed them instead of the one they actually get to create. What happens in that room is not information. It is a return to connection, with yourself first, then with everyone around you.
This is not a highlight reel. This is an actual Friday Night Live session, exactly as it happened.
Kidney failure. A stroke. A transplant. Cancer. L. Michael did not learn the distance between who you are being and who you actually are from a textbook. Life experience and years of self-development taught it to him the hard way, he survived it, managed it, hid inside it, more than once, and found his way back to connection each time. What he brings into a room is not a framework he studied. It is a return he has built inside his own life, repeatedly, and now builds with a room in real time.
